once again...
england went all the way to the final 8...
n no further...
n there was nothing we could do about it...
never remembered being soccer fans...
the 2002 world cup maybe...
the one that was held in japan n korea...
where korea somehow managed to find a place in the top 4...
then...
they were the pride of asia...
besides...
it was hosted in asia...
we didnt have to invert our sleeping cycles...
4 years later...
the 2006 world cup is back...
never intended to morph into soccer fans...
but...
we did...
guess it probably had something to do with being in london at that time...
when an entire country...
decked out in english jerseys...
comes to a standstill in the 2hrs that england has a game...
n so...
we came back to sunny island...
faithfully awaiting the start of each match that matters...
now...
the world cup is almost ending...
time for an end to late nights...
but before that...
theres still the semis n the finals to go...
