someone remind me why i chose to take management in lse...
lent term has been a mad rush of endless deadlines...
class assignments n presentations that thankfully dont count...
15% case study essays...
15% end-of-term exams...
thank goodness for wonderful friends n housemates...
the offer of a warm mug of tea in the middle of the night when sleep is the last thing on ur mind and fingers tap furiously away on the laptop...
a cup of hagen-dazs belgian chocolate n strawberries n cream ice-cream...
words of encouragement just before u leave for school to sit for a paper...
calls after ur paper to check on you...
feels just like home...
different...
but a home away from home...
feels like a long time since i last took a break...
easter break is probably the one thing i look forward to...
one week...
a badly needed break...
at last...

hello to stamford bridge, musicals, good food, n wonderful company...
the tickets have arrived in the post...
tickets to the chelsea v sheffield match at stamford bridge...
tickets to Ashford...
tickets to the Billy Elliot musical...
tickets to the Wicked musical...
daddy... dont freak out when u get ur credit card bills...
damage control is underway for the next 2 months...
i remember enjoying the adrenaline rush of the world cup...
but ive never been to a match in london...
not until she decided to support chelsea after the world cup cos it somehow comprises of many england players...
n texted to say that its prob the only other thing she really wanted to do in london...
other than spend time with me, that is...
n so...
i became a true blue member...
bought the tickets to the chelsea v sheffield match at stamford bridge...
im glad i did...
we had the time of our lives...
how about a tour around stamford bridge day before the match?
i wonder...
how does it feel like...
to walk out of the tunnel to the applause of a 40,000 strong home crowd...
to sit in the dug-out contemplating game strategies...
at least we dint have to imagine what it would be like when the players train...
much better than that...
we just happened to crash in on their training session...
so this is what the changing room looks like after a training session...
one mega mess...
at least the showers look fine...
well-prepared for the game against sheffield united tmr...
finally...
match-day...
crowded fulham broadway...
happily holding on to our match tickets...
while people without tickets stood around...
guess we were way too early...
blame it on over-excitement...
the stadium went from empty...
to full...
n finally...
after feeling like we've waited forever...
the players...
the starting line-up...
the kick-off...
now...
im fully converted...
a true-blue fan...
mad enough to hunt around for a house with a tv we can crash...
exhilarated by the 2-1 win over tottenham spurs...
thanx hf...

probably the main highlight of my one week break...

how can we forget the shopping spree at Ashford?
lets see if we got everything we needed to get...
lets try to pack it a bit...
pack the small shopping bags into the big ones...
more manageable...
